“You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.”
-Walt Disney

One of the best things about being creative is the opportunity to combine creative elements with a story that brings people together. If I have learned anything from my career in graphic design, it is that the things we create matter. That is why I seek excellence every time I take on a creative project. Furthermore, I recognize that it takes a team to make any organized effort successful, which is why I seek to partner and collaborate with others in every project I take on.

My specific focus in sports design has enabled me to create living landscapes in the form of social media interactions across the various teams I have had the honor with which to work. Social media pioneering for three separate Liberty University Hockey teams has given me a lot of experience collaborating on the fly, and I have applied this to my opportunities in merchandising design for the LaHaye Pro Shop and Liberty Concessions as well.

With everything I do, I believe there is a story to tell. Just waiting to be revealed...

Gameday announcements, Road Trip updates, starting lineups and Intermission Instagram updates... live-time sports provided an excellent way to hone in on my skills quickly and use content creation to create a marketable space and implement a social media plan.

Working with Liberty Women's Division 2 Hockey was one of my first opportunities in graphic design. The team offered a flexible environment for creativity including incorporating fun elements such as meme trends, Photoshop Fridays, and a NHL-94 retro videoeogame inspired theme.

Pro Shop Creations
My first venture into merchandising creation, my time working alongside LaHaye Pro Shop gave me a lot of real-world experience integrating graphic design into physical promotions. Whether it was advertising products digitally or in-person, I was directly responsible for contributing a number of creations including stickers, flannels, hats, hoodies, blankets, and more! Furthermore, we met our one-year goal of increasing the Pro Shop page by 1000 followers, and drove social media engagement up over 30% from the previous year.
